Higher rendering resolution/frame rate/better DLSS/view distance/physics/AA/RT/LOD...more power, more goodies, and that all pretty much autoscales once put in place.

Even without going into other things, that alone is worth a lot.

I'd agree it's worth a lot to PS or XB gamers, but Nin gamers seem to care more about other things.

If the will to put all that into place along with, the R and D, upfront hardware costs, risk of poor sales, was all seen as worth taking the chance, then sure, but would Nin see it that way? It seems as though for the last 3 consoles anyway, that Nin's been a lot more cautious about how they approach their hardware and ecosystem overall.

Hm, I don't know...how many "Nintendo" gamers are they? 13.5 millions of us that bought WiiU?

Bottom line, if they ever decide to go with Switch 2 Home, making games run better and/or look prettier than on a base console will be very easy and I think lot of  folks can appreciate something running with crisper visuals, no matter the art style used in games - at least I do, and I'd say some not insignificant percent of customer base does. Is it profitable for them to make another system just to cater to us? No idea - I guess, time will tell.
