I love when multitrillion yen companies ruin ppls lives over pirating their $60 products!! Nintendo will surely never recover from these pirates' endeavor. :( Hopefully justice is served, and Nintendo is saved!

Ah, the ol' one-percent-is-evil thing.

So I suppose if Nintendo were an up-and-coming, small indie team of five guys, it would be okay for them to try and shut down the theft of their IP. Is that correct? Would you be supportive of that? Because that's how your post reads. That if you don't have lots of money and success, you can protect your IP. But if, through hard work and great decision-making, you happen to become successful and make a lot of money, you void that right. Your IP should be stolen whenever thieves want to steal it, because you deserve it... you bunch of stupid rich people with tons of money!

Wrong! If a small indie team decided to file multimillion dollar lawsuits on an individual, then that small indie dev team will recieve from me the same exact criticism which I have already levied out against Nintendo here. It's not that complicated. Heck, if some average person stole smth from a person making $50k/year, and the $50k/year dude responds with a multimillion dollar lawsuit, then I'm gonna call that $50k/year dude out on being a complete sociopath lol. (Though if a big business were to rob that person making $50k/year...oh wait. They already do that on the daily.)
