Maybe... i am just curious because i predicted march 2025 for the sucessor as the release date back in 2019. I've been called crazy, you cannot imagine. I was not at vgchartz at that time. I've heard stories like "Nintendo always replaces its systems after 6 years blablabla..." so i should not doubt any release date later than march 2023. And the was in 2019 when Nintendo said their system would stay on the market longer than their previous systems, before Covid Kindergarden and the Ukraine story. When it was clear it wouldn't make it they said but but but covid delayed everything and ukraine and inflation... TOtk would be cross gen and May 2023 would already be longer than 6 years. The next date was late 2023 and when nothing came, march 2024 was the absolute latest and then we heard no system would get anounced that FY. after some summer 2024 dreams late 2024 was "absolutley set in stone". And here we are! Were is the "Switch 2"? We do not even have a fucking anouncement, let alone a showcase. Meanwhile march 2025 is the earliest date we could get the system. And after they repeatedly said just something about "announcing" it this FY, even my march 2025 prediction walks on thin ice now. I would not even be surprised if they'd release it in may- july...
Why am i telling you this? Because it seems that nothing is set in stone. Maybe we could look at a Game Boy/ Game Boy Color situation? No one knows...
