Maybe Musk's followers shouldn't eat up everything Musk says as "this has to be right it's from him".
I mean, nothing against people with the aspergers-syndrome but it's a well known fact that these people often have problems with social Interactions or to understand the feelings of others. Musk even said it about himself.
So why should anyone care about him saying something about these topics? He just doesn't understand how it doesn't hurt anyone to give people these choices but can be nice for some even if not for him.
So he's a dude drifting more and more to the right and suffers from something which prevents him to understand the feelings of people.
Let him calculate numbers and stuff but don't let him decide about things with a social aspect (in the big picture, not small things)
