Then it would look like a VCR like Xbox One the console people mocked the most that gen for its appearance. PS4 looked fine. Kinda looks like a big Wii when vertical.

The OG Xbone just looked boring rather than actively bad, PS4 actually looked worse to me due to the weird slanted design. Not a good gen for console designs, Wii U looked merely decent too; Xbox One S and X looked decent at least.
