I don't know if it's plausible that Nintendo DS also passed 160M, but Sony don't know Nintendo's internal figures, so I dont expect them to act as if they do when its last updated figure was in the same range as the PS2.

Nintendo says exactly how many DS systems they have sold on their IR website.
