"How will he approach Ukraine?

Will he pull another Kim Jung Un like last time he was in and go buddy with dictators to create less tens"

Legit, the definite problem is in this group. Europe is very worried about Trump coming to power, because he has undercover allied himself with Putin and indicated that there won't be any support for Ukraine.

"Does him simply being in power, the wild card that he is, put dictators or regimes like the CCP in a position to act more neutral and in turn not push towards hostility?"

Trump has thankfully repeatedly said that he will support Taiwan. This is probably even more important than Ukraine, since Taiwan controls the world's semiconductor manufacturing. If China gets control of Taiwan, then they'll have power over the world until semis are made elsewhere.

TSMC is already hedging their bets in case China starts shit. They've been building a massive chip foundry in Phoenix using funding from Biden's CHIPS Act.
