I don't see why it's very unlikely. They literally have a whole gaming division but they are going to let Kadokawa continue to act independently instead of moving it in house to their own division? What would be the incentive to do that? Especially after the disaster that happened with them letting Bungie do exactly what you're suggesting.

it would require a huge amount of restructuring in the first place when there's no chance at all of Kadokawa being placed under playstation. Besides being parent to some game developers kadokawa doesn't operate in the same spaces as playstation. And playstation is fully it's own thing with the same way sony music and sony pictures are. They make their own acquisitions to the point that playstation bought Audeze and became a direct competitor to Sony Electronics in the audio space.
