It's less like Neir as a replica (no pun) but more like if Neir, Sekiro, DMC, Bayonetta, GoW 2005 and Uncharted aswell as few other older style games were compressed into one game with ubisoft openworld side quests design and a needlessly sexy main character that can be pretty damn lewd at times if you choose. It doesn't have the genre bending elements or the meta stuff Neir A has but it does have a lot of varied gameplay along the way, hence why I say a lot of other games from the last 20 years with QTE set pieces and what not, like it becomes Dead Space at points and has rail riding sections from Rachet and Clank for example. There's a skate pipe placed on one map that connects both ends literally for no other reason than it looks and feels cool to traverse it. The devs made this game with the sole purpose of the gamers enjoyment which, sad to say isn't the norm anymore and you can tell, they really want you to love it and they succeed.
