Surprisingly good launch for the PS5 Pro here. There will definitely have been a notable portion of people waiting for it to come out so the baseline for the PS5 should be higher next year compared to how it's been the past couple months though it should still for sure be lower compared to the first half of this year. Monster Hunter Wilds should help the Pro out for those who want better performance but don't want to play it on PC.
Taking digital into account Brothership probably had a similar launch as Dream Team so a decent start but yeah three Mario RPG's in one year was definitely not a good idea. A lot of people will just pick 1-2 of them and be satisfied with that for a while.
Also the Switch has built up a lead of just under 500k compared to 2018 but it's gonna lose all of that lead very quickly. I wonder if it'll reach 90k for any of the remaining weeks or if it'll just be down compared to 2023 for all of the holidays.
