In the console wars, it has been a regular occurence that a Sony hater claimed owning a PS console as his proof that he can't be a Sony hater. That's obviously bullshit.

So Trump has a few black buddies, but that doesn't undo his many racist remarks and actions.

So Trump appoints a woman for chief of staff, but that doesn't undo all the times that he has treated women poorly.

This is very basic stuff, I am baffled that I even have to explain this.
