Yeah that's a concern.

The issue is we're not going to hire anyone just because we're desperate, it has to be a good candidate, and I've asked maybe 10+ people and everyone understandably is like "fuck no" and if I weren't pissing off then I'd probably be against it but I'm just concerned for my team u'know, someone has to look out for them, it's a thankless role which receives an endless stream of criticism even in good times and everyone is stressed the fuck out right now.

There's low-key like 1 active writer (Trunks). He already does enough for the site and definitely wouldn't want the role of Mod, Lmao. 

Yeah, for sure it'd ruin the users experience on the site so definitely understandable. Perhaps you won't go though, sure wouldn't stepping back for while for some R&R instead of giving up completely be all the same. 

By power user, I mean actually engaging across the forum and nurturing threads, aucim blade creates threads and gets people engaged and it seems he's having fun doing it. It looked like you were having fun to.
