Hopefully Europe stops fucking supporting America with Israel now as well. Literally no reason for us to get involved in that shit. Europe needs to build up a fortress, install an Article 5 clause into EU similar to NATO, invest massively into our own defence industries (stop buying American), a European army needs to be established, Poland should acquire their own nukes. America ain't no ally and we have to look our for ourselves now.

Macron annoys the shit out of me often but one thing he has been absolutely right about is that Europe needs to invest into itself way more and stop relying on America, France has been telling us and warning us for years, France has been the one pushing for the EU army. We ignored them because we thought America would always have our back.

5+ years ago, I was saying we should remove nukes, we should invest less in military, because there's no threat to us, I feel like an idiot, I was a naïve fool, I've gone from some peace loving "we'll be okay" to "yeah, we need to fucking get real" and I hate it but it's the reality we're in. I hate that UK has to spend massively on military over other things but that's the situation we're in. I hate that I'm advocating for more nukes but clearly nukes are the only goddamn deterrent outside of NATO so if Ukraine can't get into NATO then they need to get nukes in their lifetime.

I agree so much with this sentiment.
EU needs to not reward the American military industry, if America is going to engage in trade wars with us.
And dis-regard or make worse, our situation ( the Russia issue).

I also think, instead of a draft, we build up a professional army that's effectively a EU force.
I know alot of people are against the idea, of the EU having a army, but it needs to happen.
Each country having their own stuff is nice and all, but 1 big unit, that just works together will be a better move.

There was a time, when I thought all the military spending was just a waste.
Put that into science and research and such instead.

Now it looks like its necessarily needed.
