He probably won't because he didn't fix it the first time around but this time he is hinting he will be a lot more fascist about it like bringing up the Aliens Enemy Act which was used to put Japanese-Americans in concentration camps.

But then again, it's the common thing with right wing parties, they'll scream about the border/immigration then do nothing about it when they get into power, sometimes, it gets even worse, Lmao. I think it's because they don't want to fix it, they know it's their best way into power, giving people a common enemy is very effective and pinning all of a countries problems on that enemy is also very effective to distract people from other issues. Not to say uncontrolled migration doesn't have its own problems but it's often used to cover up many other problems caused by governments themselves, or rich people.

I think Shapiro is the clear leader, he is basically Obama but white, the safest choice with little baggage, aside from his previous comments on Israel/Gaza but in about 4 years from now, sadly, Gaza won't exist. Trump won't be running in 28 and Republicans will have difficulty finding someone with his charisma.

“Gaza won’t exist”, sad but true. Man, the gloom in the air is so hard to ignore. Europe better wake up…

Hopefully Europe stops fucking supporting America with Israel now as well. Literally no reason for us to get involved in that shit. If America is going to backstab us then why should we help them with anything, especially when we're talking about giving Israel free reign to genocide the fuck out of Palestinians.

Europe needs to build up a fortress, install an Article 5 clause into EU similar to NATO, invest massively into our own defence industries (stop buying American), a European army needs to be established, Poland should acquire their own nukes. America ain't no ally and we have to look our for ourselves now.

Macron annoys the shit out of me often but one thing he has been absolutely right about is that Europe needs to invest into itself way more and stop relying on America, France has been telling us and warning us for years, France has been the one pushing for the EU army. We ignored them because we thought America would always have our back.

5+ years ago, I was saying we should remove nukes, we should invest less in military, because there's no threat to us, I feel like an idiot, I was a naïve fool, I've gone from some peace loving "we'll be okay" to "yeah, we need to fucking get real" and I hate it but it's the reality we're in. I hate that UK has to spend massively on military over other things but that's the situation we're in. I hate that I'm advocating for more nukes but clearly nukes are the only goddamn deterrent outside of NATO so if Ukraine can't get into NATO then they need to get nukes in their lifetime.

And Ryuu, I am not an alarmist, as I said, I wasn’t freaking out in 2016 or in 2020, but this time around I don’t know about the 4 year thing anymore… the world belongs to Trump, MBS, Putin( Erdogan… hard to imagine this is just another term and not a whole new era.

The only comfort I can take is that Trump (78), Putin (72), Erdogan (70) have a decent chance of being dead within the next ~10 years. Trump likely sooner than the other two due to his age and weight and 4 years from now his mental ability is going to be even worse than it is now. A lot of fascists pricks will be dead in our lifetime...But they may be replaced.

The other comfort with these people, more so Putin and Erdogan, is that in becoming the supreme leaders clinging onto power, they set up no successor for themselves, when Putin dies it will be a powder keg in Russia of people backstabbing each other to get the top spot. Erdogan on the other hand, well, there were promising signs in the last election from the opposition party and Erdogan was not happy with the results, when he dies, I think there's a decent chance of the opposition claiming power.

People like Trump, they don't come around too often, these "personality" politicians, who will replace Trump that has the same "charisma" as him? As it stands right now, I don't think any of the possibilities do, MAGA has found it hard to associate themselves with any other Republican. People like Vance and DeSantis are charisma vacuums, but I worry that America is moving more right-wing.

But Trump will install a few more younger MAGA nutjobs in the Supreme Court which will damage America for years after Trump. I could see Alito and Thomas retiring to make way for a younger MAGA idiot for Trump to install in the Supreme Court...Crazy that Trump could end up installing 5 Supreme Court picks. Depending on their age, they will affect America for generations, that is what I'm more worried about.

Anyway, Ukraine should assassinate Putin. Fuck America's concerns about that.
