Ironically, while a lot of MAGA people online are shouting about how this proves 2020 was rigged all along (because... I guess the Democrats just forgot to rig 2016 and this year?), the people actually involved with Trump's campaign and other high-level GOP officials are just straight-up admitting that he got things wrong that year, relying on a repeat of his 2016 playbook and failing thanks to Biden running a smarter campaign. This time around it looks to have happened in reverse.
