In retrospect, Biden's victory four years ago prevented the Democrats learning the lessons they should have done from Hillary Clinton's loss, much like how they went into the 2004 election thinking they'd easily beat that nasty, election-stealing war criminal George W. Bush, and it wasn't until he dealt John Kerry a decisive loss that they started really looking at themselves and laying the groundwork that would lead to victory in 2008.
