Worth the money is subjective, because it depends on how much money someone has. Checking out DF, no doubt the Pro is a strong jump up. Going from approximately a 2070s to 4070 is big. If money isn't tight, go for it. If $800 is a lot of money, the base unit is perfectly fine.
