Yeah the crazy thing about XCX on Wii U was not only that it was massive, seamless, and beautiful, but that it managed it all at a rock solid framerate at a time when open world games typically struggled in terms of performance, especially on comparable hardware.

I'd go so far as to say it's still the best looking Xenoblade game, as while 2 and 3 on Switch did use more complex and demanding effects, they did so at the cost of image quality and their environment design wasn't as stunning as X.
