The original game pushed the Wii U hard and its natural environments are still good looking to this day, so if they can improve the draw distance, resolution and textures it could really pop, at least by "Wii U remaster on Switch" standards.
It is nice that they're going the extra mile instead of just doing the bare minimum.
The confirmation of extra story content is nice to hear; it could also use a few QoL tweaks to bring it up to modern standards, but the amount of effort they've put into other aspects is promising.
