This game def. needed a more powerfull machine than the Wii U.
It did not run that great on the WiiU, and the resolution was horribly low.

So them porting it to switch is great.

What are you talking about? The game ran at native 720p, which for the Wii U was pretty standard, and it ran at a very stable 30fps, which was also pretty standard. The only things that could be criticized is the lack of collisions for some elements of New LA and the need to install part of the game on the console's memory. Digital Foundry even praised the game for being a technical marvel on the Wii U.

Of course, there was room for improvement, and this remastered shows. But for a Wii U game, the original ran perfectly fine and the resolution was good.
