There's an extremely racist Twitter account who was responding to people, leaking stuff about Dragon Age, so he could complain about it, the account said that he had a friend who was reviewing it, this Twitter account posted a character as part of the leaks, a custom made character, which looks exactly the same as Matty's custom character, this friend was spamming the n-word and shit too over his Twitter account. So it do be looking like Matty has been leaking stuff about Dragon Age to his piece of shit friend who has then been leaking stuff on Twitter, which if confirmed (which, it ain't looking good) will likely end Matty's career in this industry and cause him to be blacklisted by every single publisher. No sympathy for him if true but again, it's looking like it is true, a Bioware developer responded saying they are aware. Made me laugh though, to be caught in this way, heh. People never learn do they... |
I highly doubt it is going to matter much because Bioware probably won't be around much longer. Considering the lackluster reviews (only an 83 when EA cherry picked critics they thought would be favorable to them for early codes) and the lackluster preorder numbers for Veilguard (against a massive budget from the game being almost a decade in development across 3 different builds of the game), it wouldn't surprise me at all if EA shutters them soon, especially since Mass Effect 5 isn't even in active development yet, preproduction with only like 50 devs last I heard.
This felt like a last chance game for Bioware after Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem both disappointed EA in the sales department (just last year they laid off 50 to try and stave off their demise long enough for Dragon Age to release), and it doesn't seem to me like it is going to sell the kind of numbers EA will want it to sell considering it's high budget and the fact that it still hasn't broken Amazon top 20 with only 2 days to go before release. The EA grim reaper comes a-knocking soon methinks:
