If you think this price drop is temporary you got another thing coming. The 600 dollar version has MS pack in game in it and it says limited edition on the box.

The new pricepoint is 500 dollars for the console alone and if the 60 gb gets phased out then the 80 gb is going to be 500 dollars.

Also, Sony said they aren't phasing out the 60 gb version.


They said they weren't phasing out the 20GB PS3 either. Yet they did. They said they wouldn't rumble, but now they are getting it. I could go on, but my point has been made. Sony's word isn't exactly gold these days Ckmlb.
