Another thing worth remembering is that Trump hasn't been concerned with winning the electoral college since a few months ago. He has been working on his setup that this election will be stolen, so what does it matter if he wins or not when his loyal followers will believe that he won either way. That's probably why his campaign has given up on broadening its base and is instead focused on fully catering to the worst of America.
I view this as a miscalculation on his part though, because this time around there will be a Democratic president when the electoral vote is confirmed in early January. The storm of the capitol and the duration of it could only happen because Trump was the commander in chief, but it's not going to play out this way under Biden's watch.
A real concern, however, is that on a state level it's not going to be pretty. Four years ago the "stop the count" protesters were mostly civil, but will they be again in a post-January 6 world? I have my doubts, so the battleground states should heighten the security for election workers, hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.
Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.
