Oh stop. I went from NES to PS1 so memory cards were revolutionary but g'lord they were a disaster. So many game saves lost. Now I don't even know where my saves are but I have saves in hundreds of games and when I bought my pro they were just there once I set up the console. I can't imagine handling hundreds of saves in the 90's, it'd be a nightmare.

Steam cloud saves are so much better than memory cards.  Built in HDD, not loading, wireless controllers, HD, smooth fps, better camera angles.  Current gaming is amazing compared to old school.  I don't see how anyone could think RE2 is better than RE8, as example.

And a common gaming language across titles, you can pick up an genre now aside from fighters and know the controls. Remember when you had to check manuels for buttons.

As that example put original RE2 against REmake 2 and the remake is so, so much better.
