Same on PS4. Brilliant little game. May I recommend Brotato, it's quite a bit more "difficult" or punishing, whatever but it's got the same addicting hook and much, much deeper builds.

I'll have to check out Brotato then since after finishing VS  and looking for similar games on Youtube,  I was recommended Halls of torment,  20 minutes to dawn and Army of Ruin, I ended up Buying army of Ruin on PS5 and got the platinum for what was in my opinion a good 7/10 game that needed more time baking in the oven and bought the other two on steam but while not bad games neither of them connected with me .

Took a bit for Brotato to gel with me, spent many runs just figuring out what is best for a run but the core loop is fun enough to keep ya hooked even through that. It took over 5 hours before I got my first clear. I recommend choosing the well Rounded character and going with Guns for your first run. That should shave off an hour or two alone but I'll not say more cause there is a lot of fun in figuring out how to build. There are difficulty levels after a clear up to five, I've only gotten oast Danger level 3 and I'm still hooked even though not as much as Vampire survivors (I doubt anything will top that games dopamine levels) but enough to play a run or two when I boot on my ps4 and enough to get me to switch over for a run while I'm in the middle of Metaphor and metaphor is a mighty addicting game. The game has extreme depth in builds and while that's a good thing the RNG to bring out the septh can be quite annoying, but core gameplay loop holds up well despite that. It's only 5 euro so ya can't go wrong even if it doesn't gel.

Thanks for Army of Ruin BTW, bought and gonna dive in after Brotato gets old. I found another while shopping for it, Need Survivors, seems to have good reviews.
