Well, not all over the place. I believe the only place it is physically sold is at the Nintendo NY store, and maybe the store they have in Japan.
I went out of my way to get one... Slightly, because it was on my way home from work. When I got there, IIRC there were like 3 people in front of me in the line. Two of them got an Alarmo. Out of curiosity I stayed to see the next two people check out, and another was sold.
So, I would guess they had a pretty reasonable quantity of them.
