I read a rumor earlier that this "new feature" could be GameCube cloud streaming, and seeing what the requirements are, I kinda believe it lol. I got accepted, hopped on it the second the site went live, so I'll see what this ends up being.

If you were accepted to the Playtest Program, Nintendo will give you an eShop download code for special software around Oct 21 (UTC). You will need 2.2GB of free space.

Nintendo also recommends using TV mode and a wired connection during the test.
