Also the Slipspace engine was a pain in the ****, I just don't know what to think about the Unreal engine for Halo, it seems like they will go for graphics while the (best) Halo games like Halo 3/Reach weren't known for their amazing visuals but rather fun (with physics)...

Personally with COD we also dont' need another game with a battlepass, prefer a system where playing the game you can earn CR's that you can use in a store for skins with some premium items that you can only buy.

Not sure what you have to think about.  Probably one of the main reason to go to Unreal is that finding people who are really good in Unreal is a hell of a lot easier than finding someone who is good with anything else on that caliber.  Its not about just graphics.  Epic just has one of the top engineering teams out their with a slew of support from the community not to mention MS own studios like the Coalition and Ninja Theory.  Having those resources available to help up the level not only in the graphics but all parts of the engine is a huge toolset.

The thing is for this generation graphics do play a huge part in a AAA game.  Its expected because when you look at the stuff coming out from Sony or any other high profile game, that is the bare minimum that is expected and when games do not reach that level of graphic fidelity its already getting nuked.  AAA games today need to have all the pillars to get sales, there just no way around it because anything short and consumer mindshare and interest just goes away.
