Not as bad as I was expecting but still 576p is really rough. I doubt this will sell well enough to be worth the effort but it's interesting to see how it runs particularly on the once mighty One X since 900p used to be a common base Xbox One resolution. Cross-gen ports are coming to an end so it won't happen but I wonder how long it would take till the One X would go down to resolutions like 576p if they continued for a few more years.

In defense of the port... a ps4 is similar to a 7850 while the ps5 is close to a 6700xt.. that is 500-600% difference. Porting just comes with massive sacrifices. Personally, I would not take the sacrifices, but for those who are stuck a generation behind, let us be fair gaming is expensive, this is a better than nothing alternative. Just my 2 cents, I think this port represents what to expect of the S2 for third party, giant pass for me. But others it is better than nothing. |
In terms of resolution and visuals the PS4 Pro/One X versions are probably not far from where it'll be but the much better CPU will help out a lot in certain games and it'll have way, way better loading times so overall it should be somewhat above this port.
