That type of response is arguing the trans/political issue, not arguing the matter of it it affects sales of the games. 

Tbf, I did literally accept that there's likely some bigots who aren't buying the game due to representation but that affects all videogames where representation exists, my key point has been that they're a minority and the vast majority do not give a fuck, my point has been that this game failed for about a dozen, far bigger, reasons than "woke/DEI" and combating the useless drive-by posts of "failed cause woke/DEI"
