This is why I (and I know at least a few others in this thread, as I've read the opinions) have zero respect for the position of "voting for the person, not the policies". But seriously, this sort of thing happens every election cycle. The ones clearly losing in the primary election run would like you to suddenly forget all of the things they said about their opponent who is winning so they can endorse him and possibly get a position on that cabinet.
