Pointer controls + 480p GC graphics @ 30 fps

vs

Dual analog + 2160p modern graphics @ 60 fps (ps5)

To each their own. I enjoy pointed controls, but lol. Not that much.  

Demon, Prime, Dead, RE4 are all great remakes.  I want RE1 and CV remakes with the new RE engine.

Going somewhat back on topic.  I suspect the switch 2 will get RE4 remake via port.  The port will be a good measuring stick on hardware capability.
