Tech rolls hard and fast. I'm replaying FF7 Remake and while it looks good it is already showing its age. Graphics, imo, haven't slowed down.
Kratos is right, it is all the impressive special effects that have improved. Keeping with 7 remake, the lighting and shadows are pretty outdated compared to newer games and UE5 is just going to push things further.
