I mean holidays 2025 or later doesn't make economical sense for Nintendo. In Fiscal Year 2026 (ending 31.03.2026) the sales of the Switch (both hardware and software) will be significantly down, no cliff but just a natural decline when no major first party titels are released anymore plus it will have aged another year. Surely, Nintendo could afford to cruise through another year but the numbers on the financial reports will look ugly, the stock will tank and the investors will be very unhappy. Therefore, an April to September 2025 release makes the most sense.
