I'd personally try to remove the GPU and cooler to avoid damaging your motherboard, and try to reuse the boxes they came in if you still have them. Linus made a video about that some time ago:

perfect, damn good idea.  Thanks.  I do have the original boxes and the 4090 isn't exactly light.  I should remove it before transport.
