How do you deal with having to give up/rage quit on a game?

I actually went back to finish Star Ocean 4 though, which I regretted doing. lol
And while I like certain soulslike games (Elden Ring, Ni-Oh, Code Vein, etc) Bloodborne just didn't feel like it was for me.

I have quit many more games than that though.
But not because I didn't like them enough, but because I 'put them on hold' with the plan to go back to them later. And instead they ended up in my backlog.

Sure we'll clear our backlogs eventually, it's not quitting if you put it in a folder that's clearly labeled as backlog, it's just putting it on hold. I'm sure when I'm in a nursing home in the future I'll finish them. All seven thousand of them.
