Did you ever get into VR. If so are you done with it now or is your headset collecting dust? If you never got in, why? And if you're still there buying games adding to that insane attach rate, why are you sticking with it.
I was in 2016 amazed by this tech and still am but they never brought the games to "more" than VR games. They just won't or can't reach the level of games we have today. I'm willing to put up with all it's flaws cause it's mind blowing technology but I can't overlook that. The closest we got was Half Life Alex, Blood and Truth and Astrobot rescue mission as new, built got VR specifically and then VR titles like RE7, Re4, Wipeout which are all ports from flat screen games. The PSVR 2 tried to sell itself on software that was more VR experiences like call of the mountain and Kayak simulator with the only killer app being Granturismo 7, just not enough man. The Meta quests catalogue is great for light gaming but it's all arcadey, once off stuff or experiences, nothing that says 30 hour, indept Open world or RPG like you can have on flat screen and it wouldn't even be capable.
I'd be really happy to buy into this tech again if they could get AAA games publishers to add a VR mode that works same as the main game but it looks like that'll never happen again and VR is going away at least for a while until the tech catches up to make this a reality. It's such a pity.
