The polls said Hillary would win but a huge landslide. In fact the final electoral vote count vs prediction is shows like a 200 point shift.

There are other examples in recent history for 2022. Polling has been quite botched for years now and it seems to corelate to the shift to targeted online polls and abandonment of landlines.

The polls never said this.  Republicans say this.

What exactly is the implication here? Biden isn't allowed to drop out? He's not allowed to make that choice for himself? 

I'm not aware of presidential candidates being a legally binding position. 

Republicans: Biden is too old to be president.

Biden: I'm rescinding my nomination for 2024 presidential election.

This reminds me of how many Republican men have to have their moms, wives, daughters, etc...assaulted before they recognize the problem.  They have a problem with empathy until it affects them directly.

If I recall, we primary voted for a Biden-Harris ticket.  That is something that Republicans need to come to terms with.

The Republicans are mad as hell that they spent over a year telling everyone that Biden was too old and not mentally sound for 4 more years in office  The Democrats, including Biden himself, have acquiesced.  Biden motioned in agreement with Republicans.  Now Republicans are have not only set themselves up for failure by getting what they wanted but now their own rhetoric about age and mental faculties implicate their own candidate.

They got played.  And looking for silly angles like disenfranchisement of voters (the irony is not lost on us) will not alter the circumstances.
