Heck the Democrats convinced Biden not to run in 2016 to give Hillary the white house. Then unexpectedly Berny became a threat to her anointment, so they cheated him out of it by rigging the primary debates. It all fell on their face when Trump won.

And they are doing the same with anointing Harris. History does not repeat, but it rhymes. They should have an open convention to get the strongest candidate. Because Harris isn't it.

Polls are a reflection of the sample, if you keep that in perspective, they are extremely accurate.

The issue is when individuals extrapolate that data-set and try to apply it across an entire population which may have demographics which are not representative of that specific sample.

Harris will reset the slate, she doesn't have the old-age/incompetent baggage and she isn't a convicted criminal like Trump.
She is a "clean slate" with far less baggage. I don't think the Democrat party has the time to fluff around and needs to back her 100% or just hand the election to Trump.

It will be interesting what attack/lie Trump will conjure up. - Will it be another lock her up lie that never eventuates?
