Nintendo and Sony have very different strategies, and frankly those strategies are paying off just fine for both of them.

Nintendo pretty much puts out a game every month, some of them are huge, but a lot of them are smaller titles. 

Sony usually puts out a couple of huge titles every year. 

I think 2023 was a pretty garbage year, but 2024 has been great for them. (Stellar Blade, Helldivers, Rise of the Ronin, with Concord, Astro Bot, Horizon Lego, Until Dawn still coming.) Whereas 2023 was pretty much just Spider-Man 2.

I expect they'll have a showcase to show off their big games for next year, in September.
