Mmmmm, so it looks like Trump is not the only one who dodges a bullet lol. Dems can count themselves lucky it hardly moves the needle. Still, I guess Trump is too controversial for that event to change anything as I suppose it paints Trump as a victim, martyr, or strong man only to those already intending to vote for him. Like, if Trump is defined as the person who suggested injecting bleach to cure COVID-19 for you, then an assassination attempt on his person won't make you look at him any more favorably. And I guess Trump has accumulated too many such badly defining moments.
But still, I would worry about a stronger-than-anticipated turnover of his electorate because of it.
