At least now I won't have to suffer watching Scott humiliate himself licking Trump's balls as much in the future. Also at least he didn't make a truly insufferable pick like Lake or Greene. I don't see Vance doing anything to help his numbers and only hurting him if Dems are smart and play his sound bites against Trump nonstop in the run up to election. |
Haley would have won him the election. Youngkin, Scott, Rubio would have been better than Vance.
Feels like only the dog killer would have been a worst choice.
Vance is just a duller Trump, another white dude who underperformed in his own elections, he won't bring in any voters that Trump doesn't already have and the Democrats have dozens of soundbites to use against him already, he's very much a yes-man, feels like a worse choice than Pence and Vance will be a huge liability if Trump wants to pretend to be a unity candidate now because Vance can't keep his mouth shut. It'll be dangerous if he gets into power but specifically about how he helps Trump's chances, it feels like, not at all, it's just doubling down on their already crazy base.
Dangerous if he gets in power, utterly useless to Trump's re-election chances though.
