Apparently it was glass fragments which hit him, not the bullet...Little better from the perspective of it helping his image but not by much.
Would say him saying "wait wait" to the Secret Service so he could fucking fist bump is incredibly selfish as he likely didn't know the danger was over and therefore putting the SS at risk buuuuut nobody is going to think that far, it's just going to be that image plastered everywhere.
