One fear I have is Democrats will be dumb and actually fight against Harris because if she takes over it will mean she will be the incumbent for 2028 and thus make it unlikely anyone will actually challenge her from the Democrat side, which would ruin some Democrats plans for 2028 which would be different if Biden remained in place as he'd be going out in 2028 either way.
Those Democrats can suck it up, boohoo, this shit is more important than your careers, unfortunately, I'm pretty sure they won't like hearing that, Democrats unlike Republicans aren't as united and there's definitely going to be some Democrats who will still think "Well, Trump winning another 4 years won't be so bad! I'll just wait until 2028!" So they'd rather Biden runs and loses rather than Harris runs and wins.
Look at the French left uniting...Do that...Don't be the Tory Party...Backstabbing and fighting for top spot.
If Biden steps down, it has to be Harris and if it's Harris, shut up and put everything you have behind her winning.
