You're totally right. Sekiro still is a great game when the bosses are new, I'm in middle of fighting the evil ending boss, so it's a fresh boss for me and it's still amazing learning the fight even though I'm all kitted out in NG+3 with max vitality. The difficulty doesn't need to change, just the enemies and they'd be onto a winner. BTW, a pretty cool feature was added to Sekiro if you don't know, a gauntlet boss run with new boss move sets and more difficult variants. I've yet to delve in but seems like good DLC that went under the radar.

Yea a new map and bosses would still be amazing for sure. i love the story in this game and evil ending is amazing. i finished the game 5 times, most of any game for me. did you fight father owl and his prime state that was amazing. I only wish they would go to this story format and just sick of the cryptic crap in their games.

Yup, Father Owl is the hardest boss I ever fought as an adult. That second phase still gets me furious when I think of it, it was the only time I've ever lost my patience with these games and my controller ended up in pieces, which is odd because souls games have made me a more patient person. In my defence it took me three days and over 12 hours to beat him. I done it before Sword saint so I remember thinking what all the fuss was about even though he was still ridiculously tough. What a boss in terms of difficulty but I have to wonder if arena is the cause of it more than boss design and phase two phantom shit inbsuch a tight space where you don't know wtd is going on. I don't think he'd be nearly as hard if he were in the open world or even the top of Castle Ashina which is smaller but a more fair arena for the camera.
