I really like Tunic's art style, but the whole "unreadable in game language" gimmick and the focus on being overly cryptic is a turnoff for me personally.
I didn't grow up in that era of games being obtuse so its a throwback to something I have no attachment to.
Echoes of Wisdom I hope is a more frictionless experience with more modern QoL and convenience.
