Quite frankly I have other games to play and other things to do with my life than chase down digital trophies. Again, I really like that they exist. I rarely play a game once I finish the main campaign/story, unless its a multiplayer game or sandbox or something. |
I find they add extra value to games you enjoy, ever get to the end of a game and want more but don't feel like replaying? The trophies serve to get you goals to get the most out of the game and more for your money. Sometimes a good platinum can elevate a solid 7 game to an 8 or 9 or even a bad game into something enjoyable depending on how the developers implement. Ever buy a game that socks and feel ripped off? Try the trophy list and you might get more out of it than you expected.
