Phenomajp13 said: @Pemalite Dude I am aware of the many games on Switch that require downloads but I am also aware of the many that don't, including the vastly more popular Nintendo games. This is still a Nintendo console, in others words most of the userbase will be happy to know their Nintendo games will not require a download at all. They just have to worry about their 3rd party AAA games. I agree about the 256 GB being small but atleast now no individual game should be able to fill it besides the Call of Duty app, which is like 200 GB. Switch 1's 32 GB was filled by NBA 2K alone. The Oled model has 64 GB and there are a few games on Switch I believe really push it such as Doom Eternal. I personally am OK with the 256 because if Nintendo went higher, they would certainly upcharge me for it. I would rather invest that in a better option myself such as 1 TB micro SD. |
100% agreed. Nintendo games won't be 100+ gb. Most will be 20 gb, maybe even less. 1st party is going to be the lion's share of game sales for the S2. It makes no sense for Nintendo to up charge everyone for the benefit of the few. And given Nintendo's art style, 12 gb of ram is plenty for SD to work fine for those who want a bit more.
Nintendo doesn't need to be launching a $600+ high end portable. That isn't their audience.
