Damn, Ubisoft really stepped in it with this one. I didn't realize the controversy was this big, when I watched the trailers yesterday the like/dislike ratios on them were like 97% positive, the dislikes must have came later. The Ubisoft Japan channel ratio is particularly bad. I can't imagine JP gamers are that mad about Yasuke like people in the west are, Yasuke is a fairly common figure in manga and anime and was featured in 3 recent Koei Tecmo games, Nioh, Nioh 2, and Samurai Warriors 5, all 3 of which JP gamers loved, and in the Nioh games he was portrayed as a full-blown samurai just like Ubisoft is portraying him.

I'm sure some of the dislikes aren't because of the Yasuke controversy of course, but because of other reasons like announcing multiple expensive editions and preorders without showing gameplay, as well as Ubisoft's recent comments about game ownership, and the general declining quality in their games over the last generation.
