I've also thought about the possibility of Nintendo showcasing the Switch 2 briefly at the Game Awards. I do believe that if it is shown in 2024 that it will be in December though and not October like the Switch. I also believe that the blowout reveal akin to the Switch 2017 presentation won't take place until March with a release coming in May or June.
I do feel like it will be initially shown outside the Game Awards, but I feel it would be beneficial to have some sort of Switch 2 presence at the Game Awards considering the high viewership.
